Travelers in the Hudson Valley seeking luxury accommodations in a downtown setting need look no further than Hospitality Partner, The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester in White Plains. Modern and sophisticated, yet warm and inviting, the hotel combines all of the comforts of home with top-tier amenities just a stone’s throw (about a 15-minute drive) from Historic Hudson Valley’s Westchester sites.
The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester partners with Historic Hudson Valley on several exclusive packages including Hudson Valley Halloween, featuring special, any-time access to The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze, as well as Hudson Valley Summer, which includes visits to Kykuit and Philipsburg Manor. “The Hudson Valley is so incredibly rich in history, culture, and natural beauty,” says Jeff Dziak, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester. “Historic Hudson Valley’s sites and festivals attract guests from near and far. A tour of Kykuit or a night at the Blaze is a terrific way to experience the magic of this region.”
The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester pastry chefs have brought a little bit of Hudson Valley history right to the hotel’s lobby, constructing large-scale gingerbread replicas of both Sunnyside and Kykuit that delighted hotel guests the past two holiday seasons. Last December, the 240-pound Kykuit house, which took 150 person hours to design and construct, boasted 13 types of candy and handmade elements modeled after those on the mansion.
