From North/South Routes in Westchester County or Lower Connecticut:

Take Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) or NYS Thruway (I-87) North to Sawmill River Parkway. Follow signs to Taconic Parkway. From the Taconic Parkway, get on Route 9A and follow to Croton Point Ave. exit. Turn right at end of exit ramp; turn right again at traffic light onto South Riverside Ave. and continue to end.

Alternate Route from Northern Westchester County:

Take Route 9/9A South to Croton Point Avenue exit. Turn left at end of exit ramp; continue on Croton Point Avenue to traffic light at South Riverside Avenue. Turn right onto South Riverside Ave. and continue to end.

From Rockland County, Upstate New York or New Jersey:

Take NYS Thruway (I-87) South; cross the Tappan Zee Bridge and exit immediately after toll at Exit 9, Route 9, Tarrytown. At the light at the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Route 9 North. Continue approximately 9 miles to Croton Point Avenue exit. Turn right at end of exit ramp; turn right again at traffic light onto South Riverside Ave. and continue to end.

From Manhattan (Autos Only):

Take the Henry Hudson Parkway North into the Saw Mill River Parkway. Follow signs to Taconic Parkway. From the Taconic Parkway, get on Route 9A and follow to Croton Point Ave. exit. Turn right at end of exit ramp; turn right again at traffic light onto South Riverside Ave. and continue to end.

by train

Metro-North's Hudson Line trains depart Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Take the train to Croton-Harmon station (under an hour from Manhattan) where cabs wait to meet each train. Van Cortlandt Manor is a 5-minute cab ride or 10-minute walk away (The walk is not pedestrian friendly). Check the train schedule online, or call 1-800-METRO-INFO.
