Eagle Fest at Van Cortlandt Manor

 

Van Cortlandt Manor is participating in Teatown Lake Reservation's 2012 Eagle Fest.

 

The grounds of Van Cortlandt Manor will be open to the public from 9am to 4pm. (Historic buildings are closed for this event.) Complimentary hot beverages and light snacks will be available in the visitor center

 

Besides keeping an eye out for soaring birds overhead, activities include tinsmithing, creating eagle silhouettes, puppets, origami birds, and eagle sketching.
