Henry Hudson Society
This group shares a commitment to the history, culture, and environment of the Hudson Valley. Named for the first European explorer to discover the riches of this extraordinary river valley, the Henry Hudson Society offers its members special opportunities to take part in a variety of educational programs and special events.
Contributions from Henry Hudson Society members provide vital support for the restoration of Historic Hudson Valley's collection of 53 architecturally significant buildings. From manor houses to smokehouses, these structures are important laboratories for teaching the history of our region and nation.

Pocantico Society
This group of leading donors carries on the spirit of philanthropy established by Historic Hudson Valley's founder, John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Members are important partners who gather several times a year for some extraordinary educational and social events. The Pocantico Society takes its Algonquin name from the river that winds through the Rockefeller Estate down to Philipsburg Manor where it powers the restored gristmill.
Like the mill's huge waterwheel, the Pocantico Society drives a crucial aspect of Historic Hudson Valley's work: curriculum-based school education programs that serve some 35,000 children a year in kindergarten through 12th grade.
