| Winter WonderLights lights up NYTimes |
|
The article talks about the "enchanted, walkable winter forest" visitors will discover at Sunnyside, the homestead of Washington Irving and all the lights on display. In an elaborate display of outdoor illumination, the first-ever Winter WonderLights will make use of tens of thousands of LED lights, two miles of electroluminescent wire, 1,500 feet of rope light, 571 theatrical lighting fixtures and 14.7 miles of electrical cable. In all, that's 68,965 individual points of light along a half-mile path. Make sure you're not left in the dark this December. The illumination begins Thursday. Comments (2) Winter Activities

This is truly a magical experience. I was transported back to childhood, at least in my response to the zillions of lights, colors, shapes, and absolute beauty.
A fairy-tale setting, perfect for the holiday season. Write comment

We have been (for the first time) to Blaze, Ichabod Crane & last night to Winter Wonderlights. They were all very beautiful, imaginative and joyous. They were also very informative about each subject matter and the ways in which the ecology was served through recycling and the use of LED lighting.
We were extremely pleased with everyone at HHV: membership, docents and administration. We proud to be members.
Thanks.
