Hay there hay man!

HayWeb.jpgWith Saturday's opening night shadow looming like that of the Great Pumpkin over Linus, the Blaze team is beating frantic double time down the set up home stretch.

What would a large visitor tent *slash* Café Blaze *slash* Blaze shop *slash* carving station be without a lot of hay? Much less interesting, clearly, so this week, the Blaze gurus imported bales upon bales of the straw stuff to give the tent that fall festive mood.

Pumpkin gal: I'm sorry, I'm sorry...Now please put down that rotten squash! I admit it. You're right. Even though I try real hard to not give away too much of the magic before you can experience it firsthand, there has been a lack of pumpkin guts on the blog so far.

BUT...there's plenty of good pumpkin-centric stuff coming, I promise, INCLUDING an all new "Meet the Carvers" series. And yes, don'tcha worry, VERN is here and carving like a madman.

And sorry to disappoint (if this does), but there will be no animated dinosaurs patrolling the parking lot. Though I do love that image.

I really appreciate all the news about the tent and stuff for sale and that tickets are selling fast and hay is there and I can shop to my heart content....

BUT...........

WHAT ABOUT THE PUMPKINS???????

what's new this year, how's the walking trail going to look this year? someone mentioned that there may be animated dinosaurs walking around the parking lot, is that true? Who are the carvers this year? Is Vern still there? I had a chance to meet him last year, he's the best.

So? What can I look forward to besides news about what I can but and where????
