Blaze-ing a social networking trail

So, is anything going on at Van Cortlandt Manor in preparation for The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze 08? Oh, you better believe it! In fact, it's safe to say the site is gradually being transformed into Blazeland, given that opening night is a mere 19 days away. Blaze, the 18-night pumpkin-fueled fandango that is Westchester (nay, New York's) biggest, bestest October event kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 4.

In the meantime, we've gone social...networking that is. Assuming you're not too young or too old, you must be on MySpace or Facebook or both, right?

Wherever you happen to park your online self, connect with us! Friend us on MySpace, become a fan on Facebook. Tell your friends, neighbors, kids, delivery guy...we want to get virtually warm and fuzzy with you.

Greetings Kathleen: That's going to be one heck of a cool (and hopefully temperate) night. I think you've left yourself plenty of time. Hit Legend right at 6 and scoot out of there around 7 or 7:15, then head up Route 9 to Croton. Philipsburg will be swamped at that point but once you're out of the lot the drive should be fine. Once you get to Van Cortlandt Manor the parking pros will guide you in and you'll be all set.

Question on timing of Legend & Blaze

Hi, I have tickets to both Legend and Blaze for October 18. I got the Legend ones for 6pm and Blaze for 7:30, hoping that would be enough of a spread to get through Legend and drive to Blaze. Do you think that timing will work well and do you have any driving/parking tips for the events? Thanks
