Historic Hudson Valley's educational programs are designed to meet teachers' curriculum needs, support national learning standards, and take full advantage of the resources of our properties. Each of our sites has a story to tell and serves as a primary source for learning history.

A visit to our historically significant sites enhances classroom learning by allowing students to experience history where it happened. Surrounded by historic buildings, landscapes and artifacts, students develop a deeper understanding of the people who lived in the Hudson Valley from the 1700s through the twentieth century. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, our trained museum educators help students make connections to the past and to learn how history relates to life today. We look forward to welcoming you at Historic Hudson Valley.
