Kykuit
After Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller moved into Kykuit in 1963, he began installing his distinguished collection of 20th century sculpture in the gardens, including works by Alexander Calder, Pablo Picasso, Henry Moore, Louise Nevelson, and many others. The house contains 20th century painting and sculpture. Tapestries by Pablo Picasso and portraits of Governor and Mrs. Rockefeller by Andy Warhol are visitor favorites.

Union Church
The Rockefeller family commissioned the Rose window over the altar from Henri Matisse; in addition, there are nine stained glass windows by Marc Chagall. The Union Church has been described as "the summit of Chagall's work in stained glass."
