1. Pick a night (or two, or three) to attend Blaze during its first two weekends.
2. Bring your digital video device (but not your tripod) and record footage.
3. Edit it and post the finished product (no more than three minutes) on YouTube.

Historic Hudson Valley invites you to attend The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze Oct. 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, or 14, capture the event on video, and publish your edited work on YouTube. Please note that for safety reasons, tripods are not allowed at Blaze. 2. Exceptional production values and elaborate special effects created in the studio are not necessary. The winning video will be no longer than three minutes in length and will best capture the creativity and excitement of The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze experience. 3. The published video that in the view of Historic Hudson Valley’s judges best achieves the contest goal wins a 40-inch, flat-screen, plasma television, a DVD player, and a collection of DVDs of classic Halloween movies, all provided by K104.7 Radio. 4. The name of the event (“The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze”) and Historic Hudson Valley’s website (www.hudsonvalley.org) must appear on-screen for at least 5 seconds. 5. Videos uploaded to YouTube must be tagged with “Halloween” “Pumpkin” “Great” “Jack” “O’Lantern” “Blaze” “Historic” “Hudson” “Valley” “Van” “Cortlandt” “Manor” and “Jack-o-lantern”. 6. After you upload your video, send email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with a link to the video and your full name and phone number. 7. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube by Wednesday, October 17, at 6pm. The winner will be announced at the event on-air on Thursday, October 18, on WHUD, The Peak, and K104.7. 8. Anyone may enter. Employees of Historic Hudson Valley and Pamal Broadcasting and their family members are not eligible to win prizes.
