SOLDOUT10.4.gifSnakeWeb.jpgOK, it's t-minus and about three hours as I type this and I can barely contain myself. Blaze, opening night, perfect weather, tonight...and yes, it's SOLD OUT, but if you desperately wanted to go this opening weekend, there are tickets for tomorrow still available, so don't fret.

Now, I'm wondering who is going tonight and are you filming for the YouTube contest and most of all, I want to hear what you think of the new displays. Post your comments HERE when you get home.

And remember to say hi to the snakes.

Greenwich Village puppet people

Jaime: Yes indeed. The Legend puppets were created and designed by Superior Concept Monsters, working with groups of high school kids at Philipsburg Manor this summer. And while they aren't pumpkins, I nonetheless can't wait to see them myself!

The big puppets sound great. I too have been to legend many times. It's good to see different attractions each year. Am I correct that the puppets are designed by the same people who do the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade?
Legend Witches

Wanted to let visitors know that, in an effort to continue to dazzle visitors, there will be lots of wonderful changes to Legend this year, including water-borne and land-borne animated puppets that were built by professional pupeteers and high school stduents this past summer. The witches coven of old will now be haunted by the White Lady and a larger-than-life White Lady puppet, accompanied by the story of the White Lady, recorded by master storyteller Jonathan Kruk. Look also for a 30-foot serpent in the upper millpond, animated trees, remains of revolutionary war soldiers, and night mares (horses) in the barn. Rest assured that Legend will continue to be a spectacle not to be missed!

Glad ya loved it!

We were at Blaze last night and it was fantastic. We also purchased tickets for Legend Weekend. My little girls are excited about seeing the witches again. The witches are the best part of the event. They are so realistic!

See ya at Legend
