Next up in our list of winners is another stellar creation, this time courtesy of Vanphouthon Souvannasane, who used original Winter WonderLights music (created by master musician Jim Keyes) as background for his work.

His video also incorporates explanatory text from the event and great visuals. Nice job, V.! His efforts make him the second iPod touch winner, courtesy of WHUD 100.7. Check it out below.

Go to Winter WonderLights, film it, edit it, post it on YouTube and you just might win an iPod touch. That was the concept, and a good one it was!

Now, after much YouTubing and much work on the part of the many contestants who entered, the judges are ready to name the winners -- four in all. I'm announcing one per day starting...right now!

The Winter WonderLights YouTube contest had a simple premise but a difficult goal: Capture the creativity and excitement of this brand-new holiday lights event at Washington Irving's Sunnyside.

Hands down, Elaine Kung did all that and more in her excellent winning video. She gets the first iPod, courtesy of WHUD 100.7.

IrvTwitterBlog.jpgWho has time to read or post to an actual blog anymore? Well, your good friends HVBlogger and BlazeBlogger do, but we must admit to being increasingly transfixed by Twitter and its meditative exercise of forcing wannabe web writers to reduce online musings to 140 characters.

Not sure what we're talking about? Why, it's Twitter, which, depending on whom you ask, is either the new Facebook or the new SixDegrees.com. We tend to lean towards the former view, so we're jumping in with gusto.

Our tweets (like a blog post, but no longer than 140 characters) will run the gamut of all things doing at HHV...just like here.

Omit needless words? That's last century's advice. Omit needless characters. That's where it's at. Come play with us! Start following HHValley and we'll follow you right back. Fair warning: Twitter is rather addictive.
