Camp counselors are experienced educators and make the camp a fun and educational experience. Enrollment begins in March and space is limited. Sunnyside's camp program is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the 19th-century Romantic era at the homestead of Washington Irving. Campers will appreciate the famous author's love of nature and writing with activities like Design-a-Garden, sketching on the lawns, and creating their own literary works and puppet shows. Plus, enjoy leisure time activities like treasure hunts and cranking homemade ice cream. 9:30am to 3:30pm Fee: $300 per week, discounts for multiple weeks and for Members Reservations required: 914-631-820, Ext. 643 |
