Historic Hudson Valley is the area’s largest cultural organization, educating and entertaining over 250,000 visitors each year through school programs, tours of five National Landmarks, and large-scale, family-friendly events like LIGHTSCAPES and The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze.

Our efforts have not gone unnoticed. ArtsWestchester has chosen HHV as the recipient of its 2016 Arts Organization Award, presented to a non-profit ‘’that has made an important contribution to the growth of Westchester’s cultural life over a significant period of time, and has had an impact beyond its immediate community.”

Since 1976, ArtsWestchester has presented Arts Awards annually to individual artists, organizations, arts patrons, and educators. One of the first honorees – in 1977 – was former Vice President and New York Governor Nelson D. Rockefeller, son of HHV founder, John D. Rockefeller Jr.

And in 2010, ArtsWestchester recognized Michael Natiello’s extraordinary efforts as creative director of Historic Hudson Valley’s popular Halloween event, The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze. Mr. Natiello also plans, designs, and executes HHV’s newest spring blockbuster LIGHTSCAPES, which opens for its third season on April 29.

ArtsWestchester’s 2016 Arts Awards Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 8 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown. Click here for more information about the luncheon.
