Guidelines

Shoots are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note that Kykuit, the Rockefeller estate is NOT available for commercial shoots. No exceptions.

We require a signed location agreement, payment of location fees and security deposit in advance, and proof of insurance. Filming is not typically permitted inside, but will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Philipsburg Manor
Sleepy Hollow, NY

A colonial era historic site, circa 1750, with pastures, an old Dutch Barn, a whitewashed stone manor house, working water-powered gristmill, a small brick house with an open-hearth style fireplace, water views, live farm animals, a small herb/vegetable garden, and several open fields containing farm crops in season.

Tarrytown, NY

Home to The Legend of Sleepy Hollow author Washington Irving, this site feature a romantic landscape with rolling hills, a large, ornamental flower garden, superb views of the Hudson River, nature trails and a small stream, several outbuildings, and a late 19th-century style carriage house that has a windy gravel road that leads to the cottage by the Hudson River.

Van Cortlandt Manor
Croton-on-Hudson, NY

A Revolutionary-era site with an 18th-century stone manor house that has an expansive wrap-around porch, a tavern and tenant farmhouse with an open-hearth cooking area and a textile area, an open-air blacksmith shop, ornamental flower and vegetable gardens, and unspoiled views of the Croton River, all beside a beautiful forest, providing a wonderful location for rustic shoots.
